Writing Challenge-Day #14
Post your favorite movies that you never get tired of watching.
There are a few movies that I can go back to. And as I think about them, I believe the music makes a big deal to me.
1. The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993). When this movie came out, I fell in love with the soundtrack and still enjoy it all these years later. I also like the stop motion aspect and the quirky story line. All around a good movie.
2. Dracula (1931 starring Bella Lugosi). I loved the book and this movie captured the essence of Stoker's story. And, those eyes!!! Need I say more. I've seen a few other versions of the Dracula story since then but nothing compares to the classic black and white version.
3. Jurassic Park (1993). I still remember watching this in the theater and being blown away by the CGI and animatronics. Even to this day, I get such a sense of reality when watching this movie. I'm always waiting for a story to break on CNN of actual dinosaurs being born based on the science from this movie. Oh yeah, and the music was very cool!
4. That about wraps it up. I couldn't think of a fourth movie. I enjoy watching movies, and I've seen my share, but I rarely re-watch a movie. And there a precious few that I feel that I would want to watch more than once.
