Writing Challenge-Day #10
Write about something for which you feel strongly.
As with the theme of an earlier post, I will write about something I feel strongly about in a positive light. And I think that one of the things in my life that I feel most strongly about is family. I have to say first off, I love my family. And this is not just my wife and children, but my parents and siblings as well. They provide me with roots to know where I come from, to guide me in knowing who I am. They also provide me with the inspiration to do more, to work harder and be better.
I know that a strong family is not something that just happens. It is something that must be cultivated, worked at and fostered. There are not any perfect parents or children. Each of us makes mistakes and this is one of the reasons we should each work so hard at forgiving and working together. There is strength in unity and power in our combined efforts. I have seen the relationships with my family develop over the years in the rich tapestry of what my life has become. I appreciate what they have done for me and I feel that there is so much more I can do for them.
